    Nothing really big, but the lyrics for all the songs from Obsessions of a False Idol and The Vanishing have been added to the Audio Section. Also, the links to purchase The Vanishing / download OFI have been moved to the Store Section to keep things a bit more organized.

    Now, I know what your thinking — “News on Obsessions of a False Idol? That album is over 2 years old. What news could POSSIBLY be posted about it?” Well, gather around and let me tell you about the news that is Obsessions of a False Idol.

    Deconbrio has remastered Obsessions of a False Idol, and has posted it on Bandcamp. Yes, Bandcamp. The same place that distributed Radiohead’s In Rainbows. The album is still free to download. What’s the difference? You can now download it in a variety of formats, including 320kbps MP3, AAC and FLAC. Just because it’s free, doesn’t mean you should be limited to a low quality copy of it, right?

    Click here or go to the AUDIO section and click the download link under Obsessions of a False Idol to download the newly remastered Obsessions of a False Idol.


    Welcome to the new Deconbrio.dot.com. As you can see, we’ve gone for a much cleaner look this time around. Not to mention, the site was built completely in WordPress, so updating will be a breeze.

    Just a few things to mention:
    - The VISUAL section is now broken into separate sections: Photos, Videos and Downloads (coming soon).
    - Commenting is disabled from the VISUAL section.
    - The AUDIO section has the player in the main window. So, no need to open it in a lightbox window.
    - Clicking on the album covers opens the covers in a larger lightbox window now.
    - The social website links have been moved to the footer of the site.
    - The STORE no longer links to just the BitRiotMerch store. You now have the option to purchase the music and merch from the different online stores where they are available.
    - For anyone who follows the Deconbrio News via RSS, be sure to grab the new RSS link above, as the old one will be deleted very soon.

    That’s pretty much it. Be sure to let us know what you think of the new layout.

    In other news – the FiXT Remix vs. Deconbrio remix contest is going on right now. If you’re a remixer, be sure to sign up at FiXTremix.com, grab the stem tracks and show us what you can do. Remember, the deadline for submissions is July26th, so get your remix in as soon as possible.
